About Swift Camper
The Swift Camper has been lovingly converted by its owners Matt and Naomi. The high-top Volkswagen Transporter is ideal for a couple or a small family. The camper has loads of storage, as well as a carefully considered living space with a kitchen and fridge. The interior is bright and rustic, offering everything you might need to cook and live within a small camper to enjoy your holiday.
The Swift Camper has been designed to offer a comfy living space and a cosy double bed. The sofa area allows you to sit around a table, or relax with your feet up looking out of the windows at the view. The sofa is then converted into the double bed for sleeping. We have an option for a small over head bed for a toddler up to 3 years.

What's inside the Swift Camper...
Seating
The day set up for the campervan is a comfy sofa in a U shape. There is a table that can pivot to be used in the centre of the seating, or to the side when it is not needed. For traveling, there are three belted seats in the front cab, and a fold away additional seat with a 3 point safety seat belt in the back. If you think you might need this additional seat please let us know.
Equipment
The Swift Camper provides all cooking utensils within the van. There is also two camping chairs and an outdoor table. We can provide a small BBQ on request. Please be aware that this campervan does not have a toilet or shower facilities, we can however provide you with an emergency ‘porta-potty’ for outdoor use. An full equipment list will be shared with you after booking.
Kitchen
There is a two ring gas hob for cooking and a separate small gas burner for cooking outside. The gas canister is housed within an isolated gas locker for safety. The gas has been checked by a qualified gas engineer and has its landlord’s gas safety certificate. Pots and pans are provided as well as all the kitchen utensils. There is cold running water and a small sink. There is also a small fridge and freezer for storing food, drinks and ice for your gin and tonic!
Bed arrangement
The seating space becomes a full adult sized double bed which needs to be set up each evening. The set up is very quick and easy and we can confirm that it is comfy even if you are tall! Bedding can be provided upon request and includes sheets, two pillows and a duvet. Currently there is a small bed above the main bed that can fit a toddler up to the age of 3.
Storage
The Swift Camper has lots of accessible storage. From inside the campervan you can access storage under most of the seating, plus overhead storage in the cupboards. The back-seat storage is accessible from outside the campervan, this is where all the outdoor equipment such as camping chairs and table are stored.
Electrics
The Swift Camper uses a solar panel and driving charger to charge the on board leisure battery. You can be off-grid or you can plug into a mains hookup and use the onboard 240V plugs. The off-grid battery will run the lights, fridge and fan for up to 2 days or longer if the sun in shining. There are USB phone charging sockets available when you are off-grid to charge the essentials.
